KRYSTLE AKIN
Krystle is known to produce warm and soulful images that feel timeless with capturing real emotion that is true to the world she sees around her. She has spent over a decade perfecting her timeless and most noted use of vibrant color photographs. Photographing in the hills of Tuscany; to the boho-chic jungle oasis overlooking the Riviera Maya beaches of Tulum, she has photographed weddings and sessions around the world and won numerous awards and accolades plus publications.
Immersed in the dance community for over a decade with her Daughter Lexi as a competitive dancer and the past 5 years of photographing for local dance studios. As a past athlete herself she sees dancers in another light. Not only showcasing their natural abilities but connecting to the dancer on a personal level to show their inner beauty. Dancers photographs should be not only light filled with an abundance of true color but also showcasing their technique.
A lover of light, travel, and the soft, glowing colors brought to life on film. I still photograph with medium format film.

favorite destinations
The Amalfi Coast in Italy with the island of Barbados as a close second. I also love any Italian city as I find myself living there once I retire.

my children
11 months and 1 week apart these two act often like twins. They both have a blend of their father and I and we are so proud of them both!

disney adult
Self proclaimed Disney Adult here! As a child I never got to go but now as an adult with my own kids we visit at least once to twice a year.

light seeking
Finding light is of one of my favorite past times. From gorgeous sunrises overlooking the Roman Colosseum to cotton candy sunsets in the Santa Ynez Valley. I love finding the perfect light at any photoshoot.

wedding photographer
With almost 15 years of documenting weddings I absolutely love my job. After years of traveling the world and still doing so I am honored to be taken around the world to photograph such meaningful memories.
